Strategy Breakdown


When Mei-lan's management approached us in March 2025, they had just secured dates for their second European tour in beautiful churches and theaters across the EU.

Because Mei-lan already had such an established audience, we ran a simple Email Opt-in Campaign in the target cities, and collected emails 6500 emails, so we could sell tickets via email automations to her most loyal fans in the coming months.

We then got to work at creating mass awareness of Mei-lans music in all nine of the markets, and then retargeted and nurtured this new engaged audience with tons of different  content over the following two months.

Luckily Mei-lan was handling her own ticketing for all the shows, and we were able to run Meta Purchase conversion campaigns for 3 months leading up to each show.

The results? Every date sold out in advance... 4900 total tickets.

Mei-lan is not just a musician, but a spiritual influencer with a presence of almost 2 million followers across social media, with an extremely engaged following. In addition to her music, she also has many online course products and has her own line of custom crystal singing bowls!

She had been doing a steady $150k in annual merch/course revenue the past few years, but Mei-lans team was ready to ramp things up!!

We helped Mei-lan launch a number of new products, creating high converting video content and building out a robust sales funnels, with multiple upsells and downsells in her Shopify store.

We then proceeded to build an evergreen E-commerce funnel with Meta ads, helping her consistently sell merch out side of her big seasonal sales campaigns. The was composed of multiple TOFU, MOFU and BOFU ad strategies, as well as dynamic catalog ads

After a successful European tour, Mei-lan's team wanted to begin building their listener base in the US ahead of a 16 date USA tour in 2025. 

In the past, streaming had always been an after thought, and Mei-lan had prioritized Youtube and just randomly uploaded high performing releases to Spotify. So once we began properly rolling out singles, and driving new listener traffic with ads... her Spotify audience began to grow rapidly.

Our first plan of action was to build out an effective Spotify conversion campaign on Meta. We started by tested around 25 different content pieces targeting only the USA, selected winners, then tested those across five different audiences. We were able to get the Cost Per Listener Conversion over to Spotify down to $0.16 in the US.

Within two months, Mei-lan had over 70k monthly listeners on Spotify, and multiple US cities with each over 1000 active listeners.
